A quick spin at The Carlyle before heading downtown to our Texas Night welcome party.

I worked with Bella Figura to design our invitations. I loved the boots on Friday's card. They matched the ones I wore that night. The Van Cleef & Arpels earrings were a wedding gift from my parents. I wore them at the reception with my party gown. Our wedding rings were matching gold bands from Cartier.

Wood tones and candles everywhere made for the perfect casual coziness.

We wanted our welcome party to be fun and relaxed, so all our guests could get to know one another. Beer buckets seemed like appropriate centerpieces for Texas Night.

Laughing with excitement as we all headed downstairs for post dinner dancing!

I loved my hair that night. Vassilis created this amazing braided ribbon crown.

Posing with Scott's parents who graciously hosted Texas Night, and with his brother Ryan who was his Best Man.

Listening to the speeches that my sisters and best friend gave had us laughing and crying at the same time.

The Barnstorm played a great variety of country, top hits, and 90s classics. They kept the dance floor full the whole evening.

A rare, quiet moment as the music slowed down towards the end of the night.

I got ready in my family's suite at The Carlyle with my mom, dad and sisters. Knowing I wanted a very light and ethereal look, Ashley Rebecca focused on preparing my skin before we got started with makeup.

A quick bite on top of the piano. If you know me, you know how much I love pasta. Even though there was a big meal ahead at Daniel, I had to have a plate of spaghetti for lunch.

The positioning of my headpiece was very precise. We wanted it to be the perfect balance between a crown and a headband.

My two beautiful sisters, Monica and Carolina, were my bridesmaids and the best support in the world. We had so much fun getting ready all day. They looked stunning in their Oscar de la Renta gowns.

My brother-in-law caught this shot with my mom, sisters and me in it. I love this photo so much.

The last finishing touches before seeing Scott. I also love how my dad and JP are in the background of this photo.

We took photos on our balcony at The Carlyle before the ceremony. We couldn't stop smiling with excitement.

Catching up on each other's mornings. We missed not seeing each other all day.

I love this picture. Our kiss, the breeze, my dress- all with a New York backdrop.

Walking down the corridor to one of our favorites- Bemelmans Bar- for a quick photo.

Cozied up in our preferred booth at Bemelmans. We had been there two nights before and the David Budway Trio played "Getting Married in the Morning," from My Fair Lady for us. It was a wonderful surprise!

Walking back through The Gallery. I've known all the incredible staff there forever, so I was looking back as they cheered and wished us good luck.

A bridal portrait to showcase the dress.

And one with Scott too.

Another of my favorites! The hotel's signature yellow couch, my bouquet, Ludwig Bemelmans's illustration, and our family in the mirror reflection.

So happy and excited for what's to come!

One last kiss, just the two of us, before heading off to the church.

Scott, looking very dapper as he walked out of the iconic Carlyle doors.

I love how well you can see my scar in this shot.

Walking down the aisle with my dad was one of the most special moments. Before the wedding I was a little nervous about how long the aisle was, the walk seemed like it could last forever. And honestly, I was scared I would trip. A friend told me, "Don't worry, you won't trip. Your dad will be with you. He's been making sure you don't trip since you were a little girl." And it was so true. Any nerves I had were instantly gone when I held onto my dad's arm.

My mom gave us the best advice: to hold hands during the ceremony. We held each other's hands the entire time, and we're so grateful for my mom's suggestion. Any time something excited us during the ceremony, we'd give each other a little squeeze and a smile.

On our way to Daniel, as husband and wife.

A moment outside Daniel as our guests made their way down from the church.

We entered Daniel through a little side door, just before the main doors opened.

Bustling and touchups in the back while our guests arrived for cocktail hour.

The Bar at Daniel has always been a very special place for us. When I first got sick with my heart condition, my mom and I used to go for a celebratory drink after a good doctor's appointment. Over the years it turned into after every doctor's appointment, and my dad and Scott would join us too.

I loved our escort cards! Scott is known among our family and friends for his excellent cocktails, nicknamed DWS or @drinkswithscotty. As an homage to Drinks with Scotty, each table was named after a classic cocktail. At some point, everybody started ordering their table's featured cocktail. It was a sight when the staff came out with trays full of matching cocktails- so pretty!

I love Ovando's modern style and this arrangement was the epitome of it. Simple and elegant.

No matter how often I visit, the dining room at Daniel always takes my breath away.

We had a mix of long and round tables. The long tables were lined with taper candles. It was so romantic.

The table cards had the cocktail name with an illustration of the drink, matching the front of the escort cards.

The first course, a King Crab Salad with Honey-crisp Apple, looked like a work of art.

My dad gave the most beautiful heartwarming and loving speech. He had us all in tears, joyful tears!

Oh, the cake. The pastry chef at Daniel worked with us to create this magnificent version of our favorite cake. Tiered vanilla cake and cream, with gold leaf flecked meringue on the outside.

A thank you toast to all our friends and family. It was so special to look out and see all our loved ones in the same room.

Our first dance was to George Gershwin's, "Our Love is Here to Stay."

A few songs into the party I changed into this belted Lanvin gown. I loved the drape of the open back.

Around midnight guests were invited to the kitchen for late night bites, which included everything from scrambled eggs with caviar and mini Croque Monsieurs to a variety of exquisite bite sized desserts. It was so fun!
