Lucy McMahon (a lifelong family friend) is an amazingly talented artist, and she did all of the artwork for our wedding. From our wedding crest, save the dates, invitations, menus, table numbers, to the matchbooks, you name it, she did it all! It was so special because she incorporated tons of details that are meaningful to us. Our dog, Lucky, was on our crest, on the RSVP cards and was on our invitations next to the dress code - which was “dress fancy” - wearing a bow tie! Lucy also incorporated little elements from our jewelry line into the artwork, like a gold heart and little mushrooms!

My mom, Brinker, designed and made the bag that I used for our Rehearsal Dinner. I am beyond obsessed with how it turned out. We loved it so much; we are planning on launching bags as a new limited-edition category sometime soon!

There was some rain in the forecast on our wedding day–so we were thrilled to get some photos on the beach the night of our rehearsal dinner!

I fell in love with my rehearsal dinner dress and sweater while shopping for wedding dresses at Danielle Frankel. I loved wearing lace for our rehearsal since it felt so different from my wedding dresses that I wore the following day.

Chef Zach from The Country Club of Fairfield created the cheese and charcuterie board of our dreams for the welcome party.

We wanted our Rehearsal Dinner to feel beachy with lots of blue and white details. Lucy McMahon did the art for the Rehearsal dinner menu and invitations, and she incorporated elements from the blue and white linens which was such a nice way to tie all of the details together.

We were so lucky to have clear skies for our rehearsal dinner (since the forecast for the next day was calling for rain) so we decided to do our sparkler send off and to drive off in our getaway car after the welcome party.

My mom and I designed custom Brinker + Eliza earrings for me to wear for my wedding day. I wanted to keep it pretty simple in terms of other jewelry. I wore a pinky ring that was a gift from my grandmother and a gold bracelet that was a gift from my late grandfather. I also wore a gold watch that my dad gifted to my mom and that my mom wore at their wedding - with the same dress! I borrowed a sapphire cocktail ring from my mom, and it was my “something borrowed” and “something blue!”

Our flower girl, Elle, wore the same dress that I wore in my aunt and uncle’s wedding when I was three–the dress is custom and was designed by my mom, Brinker.

I got ready with my bridesmaids in my childhood home–it was so special that we had these moments leading up to the ceremony in the house that I grew up in.

For the bridal party, I was hoping for a fun mix of floral prints in our wedding color palette. I asked my bridesmaids to choose a long floral dress that fit with our color palette and was so happy with how it turned out!

There was a flag with our wedding crest at the top of the hill leading down to the beach to guide our guests to our ceremony.

We almost forgot my veil! Sky Kim saved the day at the last minute and put the veil on just before my dad walked me down the aisle.

The pearl from the necklace that I wore on my first date with Matt was attached to the ribbon that was wrapped around my bouquet. There was a piece of Ivy in my bouquet from the same ivy plant that was in my grandmother and mother’s bouquet at their weddings.

My dad walked me down the aisle– this photo was taken just before we turned the corner to see all of our guests and Matt standing at the end of the aisle.

We loved how our ringbearers looked in their bow ties and vans!

The ring bearer pillow was a needlepoint of our wedding crest – the artwork was done by Lucy McMahon and the needlepoint was stitched by my godmother, Cindy McMahon.

Our wedding ceremony was initially planned to be on the beach at the Country Club of Fairfield, but due to the rainy forecast we decided to put our rain plan into action that morning. We moved the ceremony from the beach onto the beach pavilion (which is still right on the beach and is in open air, but it is under a roof, so guests would be protected from the rain). Luckily, the rain ended up coming in the early morning and was long gone by the time our ceremony began. My dad walked me down the aisle to "Can’t Help Falling In Love."

My mom had always said that I could wear her dress when I was married if I wanted to. Both her best friend from college, who is my godmother, and my babysitter since the day I was born, who was our wedding officiant, also wore her dress. When I tried on her dress I knew that I had to wear it and incorporate it into our day somehow. I ended up wearing my mom’s dress for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and changed into my Danielle Frankel dress for the reception and after party.

Our ceremony was so special and felt so true to us. Jen, my babysitter since the day I was born - who is essentially family, was our officiant and she prepared the most meaningful ceremony that told our story so beautifully.

Two of my grandparents were not able to be with us on the wedding day, but thanks to a tech savvy cousin they were able to watch the ceremony live and be there virtually. This photo is the moment we all waved and said hi to them on the video feed–I am so grateful that they were able to be a part of our wedding day.

Since we were already officially married in a church earlier in the summer, we decided to save our written vows to exchange at our wedding celebration on 10/1 in front of all of our friends and family. Exchanging our vows ended up being one of the most special and personal moments of our wedding day. We will remember it forever.

Lucky celebrated with us at the end of the ceremony–it was such a fun and happy moment.

At the end of the ceremony, we walked back up the aisle to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" by Stevie Wonder. It was such a fun way to head into the cocktail hour. We had pink rose petals in little monogrammed boxes on everyone's seat at the ceremony and they tossed the petals as we walked up the aisle. That was hands down one of the most special moments of the day. It felt like something out of a movie seeing all of our friends and family’s smiling faces in that moment.

Just after the ceremony–we were so excited to celebrate!

My parents were married in 1986 and my mom’s dress needed some alterations and repairs. After finding my wedding dress, I asked the team at Danielle Frankel if they ever took on projects like this or if they knew of anyone who could, and they said they would love to look at the dress. They ended up giving it a custom redesign (updating the dress to feel more modern while keeping the integrity of the dress intact). We are so happy with how it turned out!

We were driven up to our reception in our friend’s vintage Land Rover Defender, complete with wedding bells and cans. It was the perfect moment just for the two of us before heading into the cocktail hour!

My mom is one of the most creative people I have ever met - she went above and beyond when making our wedding come to life. She even hand made these amazing intricate shell picture frames that we used for the seating assignments. We turned them into mirrors in the months after the wedding. They are the most beautiful and priceless keepsake.

We were so obsessed with how the chandeliers looked all wrapped with greenery and florals.

The head table at our wedding had monogrammed linen napkins with our crest on them that we will be able to use for years to come . We have already loved pulling them out over the holidays.

We had so much fun with the tablescapes during the wedding planning process! We wanted the tablescapes to feel full of life and color and found amazing linens to achieve that look. We chose a late summer/early fall color palette with plenty of pinks.

We loved the idea of mixing a few different patterns for our wedding linens–we were so happy with how it turned out!

There was lots and lots of dancing at our wedding! We wanted it to really feel like a party and knew that we wanted to find the perfect band to achieve that. We both really wanted the band to have horns and were so happy when we discovered The Cool Rulers. They were amazing!
