Fashion model Evelyne Tramunt and Oliver Peckham, who works in digital marketing, first shared sparks after marching on Tinder 10 years ago in New York. After seven years together, Oliver surprised Evelyne with a proposal in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. At sunset, he dropped to one knee with a “Marry Me” sign on fire behind him, and they celebrated with Champagne and a traditional tagine dish.
Once engaged, the pair started planning their wedding in Provence, where Evelyne spent every summer with her grandparents. Le Mas de la Rose in Orgon made everyone feel at home for the spring weekend. And Sidonie Vidal was brought on to lens every special moment.
A year before the wedding, Evelyne modeled for bridal designer Julie Vino, and the pair hit it off. Julie booked Evelyn for two more shoots and then kindly offered to create both her wedding and party dresses. “A few months later, I visited Julie at her atelier to try on the prototype and choose the fabrics and details. She completed the dresses and had them delivered to my house in London,” Evelyn shares. "I couldn’t have been luckier!”
On the day-of, the bride got ready with Paris-based makeup artist Sandrine Bo before completing her look with Loeffler Randall Camellia Bow Heels in Gold and pearl earrings by Pernille Corydon. While Oliver put on his Richard James made-to-measure ceremony outfit.
On May 6, 2024, guests gathered between the pool and a lavender field for the wedding service “We arranged the chairs in a shape of an amphitheater looking over the lavenders, olives trees, and the grounds to give the guests the feeling of being part of a Monet painting,” the bride explains. “The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Lucy Till in both French and English, accompanied by Franck Monbaylet on the piano.”
The newlyweds made their grand reception entrance to Spandau Ballet’s “You Are Gold” before a first dance to “Wonderful Life” by Black and celebrating with a DJ from 33 Tours. Evelyn couldn’t pick a favorite moment from the evening. “It was a crescendo of happiness and emotions” she says. “And just to remain on cloud 9, two days after the wedding, we planned a weekend after-party at Chateau de Forbin.”
