Just a few minutes before the welcome event began—feeling excited, peaceful, and so grateful to step into the weekend surrounded by the people we love. I felt so beautiful in my Max Mara Bridal dress!

Simone right before the welcome event, looking effortlessly handsome. I loved seeing him in this pink suit; it set the tone for the celebration perfectly.

We took this photo just before the welcome event began. I was so emotional; I was feeling as beautiful as ever, and I couldn’t wait for our guests to arrive and finally start the celebrations.

A quiet walk before the celebrations began—just the two of us, taking in the view and the feeling that this weekend was truly ours.

We always dreamed of a welcome event that felt like a true celebration of Italy: joyful, folkloric, and filled with incredible food. The idea of an itinerant catering made of little vintage vehicles cooking right in front of our guests felt exactly like gathering in a tiny Italian piazza. Brindapino was the only choice; it wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Rachel Birthistle translated our vision perfectly in the design. We didn’t want the classic red-and-white trattoria palette, so we chose something unexpected—green, my favorite color. These tablecloths were hand-painted, and Tulipina brought the centerpieces to life with fruit and vegetables. We love color, and this joyful explosion was exactly what we imagined for our welcome event.

Another Brindapino moment: fresh pasta made right in front of our guests as the sun set over the hills. It felt like the most authentic, joyful way to welcome everyone to Tuscany.

Kelly and Emma, my beauty angels from Dawn Artists. They took care of every look throughout the entire weekend, guiding me through each moment with so much warmth. One of the best parts of working in this industry is sharing beautiful experiences, but it’s even more special when those work moments turn into real friendships and shared joys.

How do you impress Italians with pizza, when it’s something so familiar to all of us? Easy: you serve both the classics and a few unexpected, creative flavors. Needless to say… everyone loved it.

Our entrance to the welcome event. I remember trembling with joy as soon as I saw all our friends waiting for us. I thought, “Here we go!” and the golden Tuscan sunset made the moment feel even more magical.

Simone and I have always had this ability to slip into our own little bubble, where everything else disappears. I remember dancing to the roaming band that night and, even though I could feel the love and excitement of everyone around us, for a moment it felt like it was just the two of us, one last quiet pause before the weekend truly began.

Confession time: I’m a comfy-shoes girl and rarely wear heels. But that night? I danced for hours without feeling a thing: just joy, music, and the best kind of chaos. Honestly… I think I deserve an award for passing the heels test.

Is it really a wedding morning without champagne? Simone sent this to my room while I was getting ready. The most classic move, but honestly—it never fails. Cheers to traditions that always work.

While getting ready, I was the most relaxed version of myself: calm, happy, and truly present. I enjoyed every second of it—and all the beauty moments throughout the weekend ended up being some of my favorites. Having Kelly from Dawn Artists by my side, after years of friendship, felt like getting ready with a dear friend rather than a makeup artist.

My beautiful Bloom gown by Monique Lhuillier. I had always imagined myself in a completely different dress, but the moment I tried this one (which, by the way, was the very first look I slipped into), I instantly knew it was the one. I love the soft green floral pattern, especially the lily of the valley, one of my favorite flowers.

If there’s one piece of advice I’d give any bride, it’s this: pause, breathe, and take a moment just for yourself before the ceremony. In that quiet stillness, I allowed myself to slow down, and it became a soft, grounding breath that helped me savor every emotion that was about to unfold.

I didn’t give Tulipina any specific instructions for my bouquet. I asked her to surprise me. And she did, in the most beautiful way. She chose lily of the valley, not only one of my favorite flowers, but also one woven into the pattern of my dress. I loved every detail, especially the hand-painted ribbon that made it feel even more personal and poetic.

There was something almost surreal about standing there in this gown. It was light, romantic, and soft as a painting. I loved how the green florals seemed to echo the Tuscan landscape outside, as if the dress belonged to this place as much as I did.

Not me casually dragging half a garden behind me (and loving every second of it!)

I loved how this gown held its shape—sculptural yet weightless.

One of the most emotional moments of the entire weekend: my first look with my mom. We live in different parts of the world, and this was the very first time she saw me in my wedding gown. I remember trying to hold back tears; it was such an intimate, long-awaited moment for both of us, and one I know I’ll carry with me forever.

My girls. My bridesmaids, my maid of honor, and of course, our little flower girl—the undeniable star of the entire wedding. Being surrounded by the women I love most felt like carrying a piece of home with me into the day.

Fun fact: Simone found his wedding shoes in ten minutes… but spent months searching for the perfect bow tie. Priorities, right?

Simone and his groomsmen looking as sharp as the Tuscan sun that day. A truly iconic crew.

Our first look. We were both overwhelmingly emotional, but seeing Simone in tears is something I’ll never forget. I had no idea where it would take place, and only later did I realize how surreal it was: it happened in the exact spot where, years ago, on our very first visit to Conti di San Bonifacio, Simone took a photo of me when we had just started dating. A full circle moment we could’ve never planned.

Our amazing photographer, Joel Serrato, encouraged us to do a first look, and it was truly the best advice. It allowed both of us to breathe, to settle into the moment, and to share a quiet pause before being swept into the emotion and joy of the day.

A moment for Simone’s jacket—a custom design by Niccolò Zaffarano, created entirely for him. Simone still says the most entertaining part was choosing from the endless fabrics available, and honestly, I’ve never seen him enjoy a fitting so much.

Our ceremony space: a wild, colorful garden imagined by Rachel and brought to life by Tulipina. We wanted the flowers to feel as if they were growing straight from the Tuscan earth, framing the view we’ve always loved most at Conti di San Bonifacio. No platform, nothing staged. Just nature, color, and the landscape that meant so much to us from the very beginning.

Tulipina created arrangements that felt joyful, wild, and almost painterly, turning each corner of the ceremony into a little explosion of beauty.

There’s no emotion quite like walking down the aisle. I had lived that moment in my mind a million times, and as soon as I took my first step, I remember thinking, "It’s really happening!” I was truly present, and I was living the moment with my whole heart.
31 of 61
I’ve always felt that the bride has the most privileged view while walking down the aisle: you’re the only one who gets to take in the full picture at once: the setting, the faces of everyone you love, and the love of your life waiting for you right there.
32 of 61
If you’re wondering who shed more tears that day...well, it was Simone—in the most tender, heartfelt way.

Walking down the aisle with my parents by my side was one of the most emotional moments of the day. It's a memory I’ll hold close for the rest of my life.

Fabio from Lake Como Celebrant crafted a ceremony that felt deeply personal and truly ours. Every word resonated with us: a moment we loved from beginning to end.

The readings from our friends and family were another deeply meaningful moment. Their words felt personal and full of love, and they added an unforgettable layer of emotion to the ceremony.

It didn’t feel like a kiss for the photos. It felt like home.

One of those rare moments where joy feels too big to hold!
39 of 61
A moment so full of emotion that I knew I would remember the feeling for the rest of my life.
40 of 61
Nothing compared to the emotion I felt during our ceremony. It was the truest reflection of us, and my favorite moment of the entire weekend.
41 of 61
There is a very specific feeling you get the second the ceremony ends. Relief, joy, gratitude, and a quiet sense of disbelief all at once.
42 of 61
To me, nothing says Tuscany like a road lined with cypress trees. This one at Conti di San Bonifacio is iconic, and walking it with Simone felt incredibly special.

I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear.

There are no words that can fully capture the beauty of the reception Rachel brought to life. It was nothing short of breathtaking.
46 of 61
I really loved this color palette. So autumnal, so unexpected, so beautifully bold. A more elevated take on Tuscany.
47 of 61
My favorite detail on our reception table? The deep blue denim tablecloth Rachel Birthistle designed just for us. I loved the ruffled edge, so unexpected and chic. And Tulipina’s cascading florals were the dreamiest finishing touch.

Our menus by Letterink featured a lighthouse embroidery, a nod to the place where Simone proposed, and a symbol that has always represented us. Unexpected for a Tuscan setting, but that’s exactly why I loved it. Every detail on the table quietly told a piece of our story.

Nonstop beaming smiles!

Dinner was one long stream of laughter, stories, and toasts… and we made sure no one’s glass ever ran dry!

The sweetest finale to our night, with a cake we made together right before cutting it. It was so much fun!

Our first dance! We danced to “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls.

A quick change before the after-party in this floral Bronx and Banco mini.

This dress was truly made for dancing!

The entire after-party design by Letterink revolved around our poodle, Martino. We couldn’t bring him to the wedding, but I loved how he still found his way into the celebration in the most charming way.

When your favorite cocktail becomes an “Espresso Martino” for the night. The cutest signature drink in history!

Glued to the dance floor all night. I can still hear the music, see our friends dancing around us, and feel the laughter in the air.

Casually taking over Bar Martino!
