Our welcome party took place at Goodstone in an old pole barn that we renovated into a permanent venue for the property. I'm so excited for future couples to use it. We had guests arrive via hay wagon and made sure they got to say hi to the farm's llama and donkeys on the way in.

It was so exciting seeing all of our favorite people arriving one after another at our welcome party! The weather forecast predicted rain on Friday night and Saturday, so I felt so grateful in this moment that our guests still got to enjoy the outdoor cocktail party on the farm since the rain held off.

Such a gentleman! I chose this dress by Makarian because yellow is my favorite color, and it just makes me so happy. The attire for Friday night was "country chic," but the bride doesn't have to follow any rules...

Cheesing so hard with my soon-to-be husband!

Just six months earlier, this entire barn was filled with hay, wood, trackers etc. Jay and I thought it would make the perfect space for our welcome party if we spruced it up. The Goodstone staff did a phenomenal job transforming the barn into a brand new stunning and rustic event venue on the property.

I was obsessed with Richard Ray from Caitlin Meyer, who did my makeup. He had just the best vibes and did a perfect job at keeping my look natural, so I looked and felt like myself.

Getting ready with my friends between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. went by in a flash, but it was such a fun day full of good vibes, friends from different walks of life bonding, and Champagne!

I love my girls so much! I got them personalized Eberjey pajamas with their nicknames on them as a bridesmaid gift.

My beautiful mama.

Tim Willoughby had photographed several of my bridesmaids' weddings already, so I felt very comfortable with him, and he did such an amazing job throughout the weekend.

This was such an exciting moment! My bridesmaids watched from the inside and got the cutest pictures of Jay's reaction.

I loved getting to spend time with Jay before the ceremony. It definitely kept me feeling calm.

We got ready at Goodstone's stunning Manor House. Before Goodstone became an inn, we used to stay here a lot as a family, and it holds a lot of special memories for me.

Jay's nieces and nephew. The littlest one wouldn't leave my side for most of the wedding festivities, and honestly, her presence kept me feeling really relaxed and happy.

I requested my bridesmaids wear a mix of solids and floral pastel dresses to align with a spring wedding.

All my favorite people in one of my favorite places!

I feel so lucky to have these girls in my life!

These two are like sisters to me. We've been best friends since we were 13 years old and placed in the same dorm at The Hill School.

Jay's sisters and dad. They threw the most beautiful welcome party, and I love that his sisters' dresses coordinated with my bridesmaids' color scheme!

We asked my amazingly talented step-grandmother (@pamelaferrariart) to design our invitations, menus, and ceremony programs. I love how unique and personalized they all felt!

Arch of my dreams! @sophiefelts crushed it and really understood the "overgrown garden" look I wanted.

My dad was fully in his element as host all weekend. He even led a canoe ride for some brave guests in the rain on Saturday morning and then led an impromptu beer tasting at Goodstone's restaurant! I walked down the aisle to a string quartet playing "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney.

Our ceremony was by far our favorite part of the weekend. A close friend from college and my childhood pastor co-officiated. The drizzling rain stopped right before I walked down the aisle, and the birds were chirping so loudly in trees behind us. It was perfect.

Jay can't wear a ring due to an injury, so this was just for show. Apparently, we even put it on the wrong hand!

Happiest moment of my life!

Happiest moment of my life, part 2!

Goodstone's iconic ivy wall was the perfect backdrop for our cocktail hour by the pool.

Goodstone and Lauryn Prattes had done this before for a wedding at Goodstone, and I was just obsessed with the idea! It turned out beautifully.

Wildflowers and moss were definitely a part of my internal vision board, so I loved the idea of using them for place cards.

I was absolutely stunned when I saw the tent for the first time.

It felt like Bridgerton-meets overgrown secret garden dinner party, which was kind of the goal.

@sophiefelts killing it again with the flowers.

Ginori plates felt right, and we coincidentally got them as a wedding gift!

I definitely provided by planner, Lauryn Prattes, with a lot of (potentially conflicting) adjectives in describing my dream tent and tablescape, but somehow she nailed it.
45 of 57
I loved how feminine it felt.

Wow, I miss this tent!

Two of Jay's friends gave the funniest toasts that I (and a lot of other people, apparently) had ever heard during dinner. It was by far what we got the most guest feedback on. My dad even said it was the highlight of the wedding for him!

I loved the idea of a simple, traditional wedding cake surrounded by overgrown looking florals.
49 of 57
I loved that I got a second look after the ceremony by simply removing my Monique Lhuillier topper to make my dress strapless.

I'm glad I didn't notice (or care) that my dress got a little muddy after the ceremony! Hopefully that came out...

We practiced our first dance with my friend from college, who has a side hustle teaching wedding dances, so many times! (Shout out @stepsbysami.) Learning it together was such a fun experience, but Jay doesn't like dancing, so it's a struggle to get him to do it again with me..

This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend.

My dad and I danced to "How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor. I convinced him to learn a dance with me as well, and learning it and practicing it together will forever be one of my favorite memories with him.

I saw Alexandria Pijut's dress on Over The Moon and fell in love.

I had so much fun dancing, and I requested an espresso martini bar for guests to keep the energy going after dinner.

Hosting a fun after-party was very important to Jay, and I'm so glad we splurged on this dance floor and hired my favorite DJ, @yagirlashhhhhhhh, who kept the party going into the early morning!
