Our incredible invitation suite by Amber Moon. We wanted moodiness—mixing patterns and textures. The floral pattern was inspired by the Gucci store and restaurant in Florence, where we had drinks before getting engaged. Our save-the-dates were beautiful tri-fold books, tied with a black velvet bow.

This was the view from the living room of Villa Cetinale that we woke up to each morning. The row of cypress trees behind me became my aisle on the wedding day. Being there that week with our families made us feel like royalty.

The villa gardens were the perfect setting for our pre-wedding photoshoot. Running through them felt like an absolute dream. We also had our guests wander through during cocktail hour.

I bought my dress from Happy Isles after seeing it online, even though I didn’t have a specific occasion for it. I had to completely refit the bodice, as it was a few sizes too big. Then we found the perfect vintage Chanel pearl earrings to complete the look. Spencer wore a custom Loro Piana suit made for the trip.

The villa had a dramatic row of cypress trees and giant walls adorned with statues. This is actually where we held the ceremony, but we wanted to capture it in its raw beauty before setup began.

My dress was from Chana Marelus, which I bought at Spina Bride in NYC—even before I found my actual wedding dress! My stylist, Gabrielle Hurwitz, and I instantly fell in love with the shoulder bows and delicate appliqué.

The dress just felt so ethereal. It made me want to run barefoot through the grass. Our photographers, Norman + Blake, captured incredible photos of us doing just that!

Welcome to Antinori nel Chianti Classico. We wanted our guests to really experience Italy as part of the weekend, so for our welcome party, we brought everyone for a wine tour, tasting, and dinner on the rooftop. We even had to fill out a detailed profile about ourselves and our wine habits to book the welcome party. Luckily, living close to Napa helped.

Spencer had a custom green linen suit made from Brunello Cucinelli. He looked so handsome.

I loved how this gown from Lanvin mimicked the winery's sleek, spiraled architecture. I had a grosgrain ribbon added to cinch the waist, tied beneath the cape to preserve the drama. For my bag, we picked a yellow acrylic bag from Cult Gaia, which numerous people told me on the day of reminded them of grapes, so I think it was meant to be.

For the welcome party, we left all design decisions to our planners, Smith + James, so everything was a total surprise. They created the coolest escort display that everyone couldn’t stop talking about!

Our kickoff speeches—saluti!

The beautiful and culture-rich town of Siena. This is where many of our guests stayed. Just before they arrived, the city hosted its famous horse race—this was part of the post-win celebration!

My wedding dress by Elie Saab. This photo was taken in the blue room I assigned to my mom for the week—I figured it might be used for photos, and she kept it pristine the whole time.

Hair and makeup by the amazing Trine. She was so calming and went above and beyond on the wedding day. I was nervous about finding someone in Europe, but Gabrielle recommended her—and she made me feel so beautiful.

Champagne toast and giggles while getting ready. This was the master bedroom Spencer and I stayed in all week—the dramatic canopy bed was unforgettable.

My dress almost didn’t zip! The zipper got stuck, and I started to panic. It took five people, but we finally got it closed.

My mom helping with final touches. As an only child, my mom and I had dreamed about this day for years. In the moment, it didn’t feel real.

Jewelry time—and the nerves were really starting to set in. A moment of peaceful reflection before the day kicked off.

I felt like such a princess in my dress, and the bedroom was just to die for.

It took me forever to choose my dress. I made two trips to LA and two to NYC with my mom and stylist, Gabrielle Hurwitz. I tried this one on three times—but once I knew, I knew. We didn’t expect me to cry...but I sobbed!

Final preparations with the best man and Spencer’s dad.

I’m so glad we did a first look. I was nervous all morning, but the second we saw each other, I felt so much calmer. Spencer didn’t think he’d cry, but I knew he would.

Our friends and family peeked from upstairs windows and behind hedges during our first look. Not a dry eye in the house.

What can I say, we’re criers.

My nerves melted away once we saw each other. From that point on, everything just fell into place.

We felt giddy in the moment, like it was just hitting us that everything was finally happening.

I loved how my bridesmaids coordinated without matching. Gabrielle and I helped each girl choose a dress she loved and felt great in—while still looking cohesive.

While I was indecisive about my dress, the one thing I knew I wanted was a long, dramatic veil. It just says “bride” to me.

The groom and groomsmen in style. Spencer got his tux from Tom Ford and wore their iconic bowtie.

Pre-ceremony moment.

I wanted both of my parents to walk me down the aisle. So much attention goes to the father—the speech, first dance—I wanted my mom to have her moment too.
36 of 63
The handoff! This moment felt so surreal. My parents adore Spencer—and even though my dad isn’t usually a crier, I know he barely held it together.

The moment we saw this ceremony spot, we knew it was perfect. Saying our vows framed by those towering cypress trees is forever one of my most special memories.
38 of 63
It started raining hard halfway through our vows. It wasn’t the weather we’d hoped for, but once we were up there, nothing else mattered.

You may kiss the bride!
40 of 63
We didn’t even think to practice our first kiss—Spencer totally caught me off guard with the dip!

Back inside to dry off and touch up hair and makeup.

Prosecco and popsicles for our guests to cool off during cocktail hour.

Dinner in the gardens.

My mother and I handmade these velvet tablecloths with stripes and tassels at the bottom. I drastically underestimated the amount of time required to sew them together, and we spent many hours the weeks before the wedding working on them, all the way up until right before we left for Italy.

A gorgeous mix of whimsical flowers and modern touches. Personalized dinner menus helped set the tone for the night ahead.

We originally planned to dine under these chandeliers, but the rain moved us to the garden tent. Still, we had to get a few photos under the custom structure.

A moment together before entering the reception.

Our first dance to “Feeling Good.” We had learned a routine but ended up mostly winging it on the night.
52 of 63
Definitely a moment during the speeches. All of our family and friends did such incredible jobs. The whole reception was dying of laughter.

Father-daughter dance to “The Way You Look Tonight.” I grew up dancing to Frank Sinatra with my dad, so this was always going to be our song.
54 of 63
Mother-son dance. They chose “What a Wonderful World,” which held special meaning for Spencer growing up.

One of our guest favorites and an incredibly fun experience in the evening—creating our Italian wedding cake! Our guests LOVED it, and we had so much fun!
56 of 63
Finishing touches. I had a bit of dramatic fun with this part.
57 of 63
Cutting our cake. We got rave reviews on it. A lot of our guests had never had an Italian wedding cake before.

Popping a bottle of Champagne to kick off our lives together AND an awesome dance party.

Ready to get the party started!

Kicking off the after-party with a new look and more Prosecco. I think I bought this dress before the actual wedding dress as well. I tried it on at the Markarian store in NYC and was sold after just a few spins.
62 of 63
Ready to dance—because of the rain, we had to move the after-party inside. However, I think the whole experience was even better that way—the lights, music, fog, and killer band made it feel like our own personal club.

You can’t not shake it in a dress like this!
