Our invitation suite, incorporating our custom wedding pattern and other branding elements across the different pieces of collateral. Our artist was great and was flexible in working with me on the specific feedback and asks I had. Coming from a marketing/creative background, I had a specific vision that we ultimately got it to and I was so happy with where it landed.

Our legal wedding day in May! We decided to get legally married with just our immediate families down in Charlotte, North Carolina, so Andrew's dad could witness it. He unfortunately passed later that month but pulled through to watch us officially start our lives together. It was an incredibly special weekend, and we were so glad we did it. We, of course, missed him dearly in October but the fact that he still got to see us get married made it a little easier.

This Hill House dress was perfect for the occasion. It was bridal enough without being over the top, and I loved the bows. Anyone in my life will tell you that I might as well be a walking ad for Hill House. I love the brand so much, so it was only appropriate I got married in it.

Our branded welcome bags! I worked hard to design and create all items myself. I’m particularly proud of the watercolor Vero Beach beach map and hand-made candles with our custom wedding scent, that I also created. :) I put a lot of love into these bags and the other pieces I was happy to create myself rather than paying to have outsourced, like the wedding menu and bar signs. I was so happy to have an opportunity to flex my creative muscles, especially for all the people Andrew and I love most in the world. It was not only cost-effective but also incredibly fun and gratifying.

My beach day fit. The weather was perfect and we were so happy our guests had beautiful weather to enjoy after making the long trip down there. I loved this Sister Swim set from Over The Moon. The wrap skirt was so fun and different and made my feel extra confident.

This was after the rehearsal dinner and at the start of the welcome party. The attire was “colorful cocktail” and we both love blue so we leaned into it in a fun and beachy way. Such a fun night to kick-off the weekend.

I loved the back of this dress. It was so fun and was a perfect opportunity to mix up the hair with a high pony. And Andrew looked so handsome in his Alton Lane suit.

The place settings for our rehearsal dinner. Because we stuck with the blue, green, and white theme for the actual wedding day, we really leaned into bright pinks and oranges for Friday and I love how it turned out. I also loved this round menu/place card stacked on the beachy charger.

The Loeffler Randall heels I wore for the ceremony and reception. They are a classic but a goodie for a reason. Comfortable, perfectly feminine and bridal. And they hold up really well, I wear them all the time and they’re in great shape.

My Amsale wedding dress. I loved her, I knew from the second I saw the dress on their Instagram that it was special and exactly what I wanted. I jokingly named her “Lee Lee” after my mom’s mom who is sadly no longer with us but who I know would have loved the dress.

My gorgeous mama and sissie. These two women are my absolute rocks and I couldn’t do life without them. They are a huge part of why the wedding turned out as special as it was, and I am eternally grateful to them. Hol is wearing a Louise New York dress from Over The Moon that she looked stunning in. I wanted her in solid blue so she would stand apart from the bridesmaids but it still be cohesive, and this dress was perfect for that.

I loved the volume of this dress. It was super dramatic and feminine and just made me feel really special. I wish I had a reasonable excuse to wear it again but I’m sure I’ll find a way.

Best maid-of-honor a girl could ask for. And how gorgeous does she look in her Over The Moon dress? It was the perfect color and made her light blue eyes that much more stunning. She’s a queen!

Andrew and his groomsmen. Definitely a handsome crew. Right after they survived the heat of this photoshoot, they all gathered around the piano in the club, and just riffed and sang songs before the ceremony. Our incredible videographer, Kevin, got amazing footage of this moment so we got to watch it back. I knew there were a few musicians in the group but I was very impressed with their piano and vocal skills, in addition to the toast giving skills they showed off the night before.

One of our favorites of the portrait shots of the two of us. The blue shutters and arched windows in the background were perfect for our aesthetic and just added that much more charm to the setting.

John’s Island is famous for their beautiful trees, and they really worked in our favor all weekend. I love how the trees come together here to look like the top of a heart.

The light on the golf course, right before and into the ceremony, was absolutely stunning. We got so lucky with the weather, and with our amazing photographer, Jess, who did a great job of scoping out and planning the best shots throughout the day.

Andrew’s immediate family. His younger sister (Olivia), his mother (Nora), Andrew, our nephew (and our ring bearer, Max), his older sister (Caroline), our youngest nephew (Oliver), and our brother-in-law (Kyle.) I feel so lucky to be a part of their family–they’re a truly special bunch.

My immediate family (missing the pup!) My father (Ken), mother (Ranny), me, my sister (Hollin) and my brother (Jack.) We started the day like this and ended with all five of us up on a table dancing at the silent disco, which was one of my favorite moments of the whole weekend. I love these people so much. They are the reason I’m the person I am.

Finy pup! You can’t see it here but he had “Best Pup” embroidered on his bow tie and our wedding date on the clasp. He was (relatively) well behaved for the ceremony. And behind him is Max, our adorable nephew and ring bearer. He is only three but has the personality and brain of a six year old or older. He was cracking jokes the whole time we were taking pictures.

My gorgeous, amazing bridesmaids. I love these ladies so so much. From childhood, to highschool, to college and then my sisters, old and new, this group of women are the most remarkable people I know. Each of every one of them is incredibly smart, hilarious, and an amazing friend to me. I’m so so grateful for all of them and that they were on by my side as Andrew and I start our life together.

This was right before we walked down the aisle. I felt so calm and ready for this moment. My dad on the other hand was incredibly emotional (in a good way,) which was really sweet. The aisle walk was the thing he was most looking forward to and the beautiful setting (he’s a major weather fretter) made him that much more excited.

This is one of my favorite shots from the ceremony. I love how you get the guests, the florals, the trees and gorgeous light, and then of course, my dad walking me down the aisle. My dad was particularly passionate about having the ceremony at this location (which like most things, he turned out to be right about) so I framed this picture for him as it perfectly encompasses the beauty of the moment and the sentimentality of him walking his first born down the aisle.

Our bagpiper processional with the whole wedding was such a cool moment. We walked from the golf course across the street to the cocktail hour on the beach side, leading the guests with the bagpiper playing the whole way. It was awesome.

The custom bars wrapped with our wedding print. I was the most excited to see how these would come to life and they were great. For better or for worse, our guests spent a lot of time at the bars so I was glad we made these special.

The head table of tent. Renny & Reed, our floral and decor vendor out of Palm Beach, did an absolutely spectacular job. We were so happy with how it all came together.

Loved the use of the patterned runner on the white rectangular tables. It was really nice to have it broken up around the tent rather than having it all be the same tablecloth. I love this shot, it shows the romantic, beachy vibe of the tent. My high school self would be swooning/pinning to my wedding Pinterest board.

Half of the round tables in the tent had the printed tablecloth and the other half had white. The ones with white tablecloths had the green version of these gorgeous cabbage plates. Again, loved having that variety throughout the tent and the tablescapes. Another element of the tables we loved was the seating cards with personalized notes to each guest on the inside. Andrew and I wrote the notes in the months leading up to the wedding and it was so fun to get to thank each guess individually for being there. Everyone loved this little detail and it was so worth the time it took.

The head table settings. Again, Renny & Reed just did an incredible job. I love the charger/plate stack, the blue goblets, the floral and candle arrangements, and especially the tablecloth. It was fun to go with a different pattern because although we loved almost over-utilizing our custom wedding pattern, it would have been too predictable to do table cloths in that pattern too. This was different but beautiful and still within our aresthic. We were so happy with how it turned out.

Our first dance, to “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone. The first time we met we had a dance-off so it was the perfect full circle moment for us to just go off the cuff and have fun with it. It was a blast.

Cake cutting! And a peek at my second look over the evening. We weren’t too too focused on the production of the cake cutting but the cake itself was one of the most talked about parts of the wedding. John’s Island did an incredible carrot cake, my personal fave, and it was clearly a hit because we got texts about it for days.

Our "exit" moment! I love this shot, probably top five of my favorite pictures from the weekend. I loved my after party, disco look and always knew I wanted to do white (biodegradable) balloons for the exit. This picture was completely inspired by Andrew ’s sister and brother-in-law who got married five years ago (on the same weekend in October actually) who had a similar (yet, more iconic) photo. I was so excited to recreate it.
