Letter-pressed stationery on handmade paper is something I knew I wanted for our wedding invitations, so I designed it myself and sourced all the materials to make sure everything was perfect!

My favorite part about my dress was that the back was enclosed with real delicate buttons and not faux button with a zipper. This made me feel like a traditional bride!

I loved how the buttons just look like they are floating on my back against the sheer mesh.

It was surreal to know that I was getting married in just a few hours.

I wanted my daughter to feel just as special as I did, so she stayed with me the whole morning and got her hair and makeup done just like a real mini bride!

As much as the day was about Jimmie and me, it was also about us finally becoming an official family. I wanted Madison to have her own special moment during the day, so the “first-look” was reserved for her and Jimmie.

Instead of a flower girl basket, my florist arranged for a mini bouquet. She was definitely a mini bride that day!

I didn’t want to get my wedding shoes dirty, so I took them off. Jimmie carried me across the field so I wouldn’t have to walk bare foot.

Our guests were greeted with this welcome sign I made, as they arrived to the reception for some fun and dancing!

Jimmie and I love to travel, so instead of traditional table numbers, we opted for destination cities to help organize our table guests. A friend of mine helped build the column with Jimmie, I added the calligraphy, and our florist added all the beautiful greenery and florals! It was definitely a team effort.

Prospect House was so beautiful even without all the decoration, and so I wanted to enhance it by adding fresh greenery to bring it to life.

Table settings are some of my favorite details about a wedding, so I wanted to make sure each guest felt special when they sat down and saw a menu and place card reserved just for them.

I also designed the menu myself and hand-wrote every single guests' name on the place card.

The cake was a delicious earl gray flavor, and I am so sad I didn’t remember to eat more of it!

We were pretty much ready to party by this point. It had been a long day!

Our wedding coordinator had us eat right before all the guests arrived, so we could really soak in the reception portion, visit with guests, and not have to worry about stuffing our faces while people came to take pictures. Best idea ever!

One of my top moments of the night was the bridal party speech. I could not stop crying!

Our photographer and videographer snuck us out for some pictures and video footage, and it turned out incredible!

I am so glad we were able to get these night shots. Since we were all the way outside the city, you can actually see stars in the background, and it made for a magical shot.

They put on music and just asked us to dance and be ourselves.

We had our first dance to my favorite song, “Lover” by Taylor Swift.
