Born in Brussels and raised in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Astrid von Liechtenstein created AvL Backgammon following her university years at KLC School of Design in London. She’s inspired by the natural world and the colors of daily life, both loud and subtle, and finds joy in bringing those together onto the canvas of a classic game board.
