Inspired by the quiet confidence of objects refined repeatedly by skilled craftspeople, William Reardon founded New York Stoneware in 2013 with an eye toward simple gestures and purposeful forms. He creates objects that are soulful, but also functional—and each piece is individually hand-thrown on the pottery wheel, finished, and glazed by a small team of artisans in the South Bronx. This ideal Honey Pot is designed to be sturdy and comfortable. Its contrast lid is a reference to the tea jars of Japan, that once used ivory lids. Customize this piece by uploading your own art.
