In 1815, John Doulton invested his life savings, £100, in a small London pottery operation. From a maker of storage jars and ceramic sewage pipes grew a leader in design-driven, technically innovative manufacturing of fine tableware. In the course of 200 years, the label has received two Royal Warrants and still draws the deepest inspiration from the stories and scenes of London.
