On August 28, Instagram Vice President of Global Partnerships Charles Porch and philanthropist Robert Denning’s wedding weekend in France begins. Over three days, celebrations will take place at iconic venues like the Rodin Museum, Hôtel de La Marine, and Château de Villette. The choice of location is partly an homage to his mother’s—and his own—French heritage.

With posts ranging from date night at the Met Gala to his bachelor trip in Amangiri with friends like Erin and Sara Foster, @charlesporch runs the rare executive’s feed that is genuinely worth following. We’re already counting down the days to see how he’ll document his and Robert’s upcoming nuptials—a celebration destined to completely redefine what an Instagram-worthy wedding is.

The nuptials come nearly two years after Charles proposed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Robert serves on the Board of Trustees.

For their destination wedding, the grooms-to-be are keeping to the French theme and wearing French designers. “Currently we’ve zeroed in on tuxes from Hermès,” Charles shares. “Our friend Jamie Mizrahi is styling us and has been our guide on what to wear.”

Ahead of their wedding weekend, Charles—who describes his own aesthetic as “clean California style meets New York City living”—shares his Dream Registry, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon Registries.

Q: When crafting your Registry, how have you and Robert had to merge your styles?

The biggest area where we have had to merge styles is around art, which is something we both love but where we have different tastes. We had a friend help us choose which pieces to hang from what we each previously owned. A third-party helps when making tough choices. For anything new we get, we have a system where we both agree on it before we buy it. It’s still a new system, but so far so good!

These luxe silver pieces, versatile ceramics, and heirloom Baccarat crystalware can be easily layered together.

Q: What’s an important tip you would give to engaged couples making their registries for the first time?

Get it up and running as soon as you can so you get things you will actually use. I would recommend having the registry as close to the engagement announcement as possible. Without it, people tend to go rogue and send things you never wanted.
