The bride found designer Emma Beaumont on Instagram, and together, they created her custom wedding dress—a look with a pearl mikado top and huge tulle skirt with a 4.5-meter train. The veil was heavily embroidered, and she snuck in her future husband’s initials as a hidden, sentimental detail.

“Josh and I were sitting in the trunk and realized the cans were sparking on the ground and bouncing up toward the glass back door,” the bride says. “Thankfully, they didn’t do any damage, but it was a very cautious drive to the hotel.”
“Because it was a destination wedding I feel like it made you feel closer with everyone who made the journey to come celebrate with us,” Jack says. “I remember sitting back while everyone was sitting down eating dinner and thinking these are all of my favorite people, and there is so much love around us.”
Because the bride works in the beauty industry, she thinks in color palettes and immediately started mulling over what colors would complement the black and white tiles in the courtyard, where the ceremony would take place, and the exposed brick throughout the space.
Before the ceremony, the couple decided to do a first look, down the street from the bride’s childhood home, at Ardrossan Estate—the family estate the film ThePhiladelphia Story, starring Katharine Hepburn, is based off of.
