Jacaranda Living

Native South Africans Cathy and Martin Deale moved to Boston in 1997. Less than a decade later, they founded Jacaranda Living—named after a beautiful lilac flowering tree that is incredibly prolific in Pretoria and Johannesburg. A longtime admirer of the exquisite linens sewn by local Zulu women, Cathy founded Jacaranda Living on a mission to expand their markets and enrich their quality of life. Today, she brings the work of these and other talented female artisans around the globe to a North American audience to support their craftsmanship in a socially responsible environment.
