Designer Michaela Buerger turned to her Austrian roots in 2019 to offer flawlessly "Tracht" decontextualized luxury hand-knitted pieces in the spirit of her native Alpine home. Working with collectives of master-female knitters all over Europe, Michaela Buerger’s knits help to protect, promote and preserve their handcrafts, as well as create better conditions for the artisans. Each piece is made with natural materials sourced mindfully, aiming to be kind to animals, people, and the natural world.
