On our way to Bell’s! Zach and I had a meal at Bell’s during our first stay at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern and were blown away. When we started planning our wedding weekend, I knew instantly I wanted to host the welcome there.

I was so thrilled with my dress. Originally, it was designed with a nude lining, but we changed it to a sheer white, and I loved how it turned out.

Casa de Suna Co-Founder, writer, and content creator Anastasia Porte and Zachary Beloff, who works in real estate development, met as teenagers both living in Montreal. However, it wasn't until years later at a friend's birthday party, when sparks flew. And after eight years together, Zach romantically proposed in Paris's Jardin du Luxembourg.

One year prior, they'd been in the same spot, and that's when Zach began planning a proposal. "We spent a morning wandering the left bank, visiting museums and galleries, before making our way to the gardens," Anna recalls of the engagement. "In the same quiet corner where we had sat the year before, Zach proposed."

Once engaged, the couple agreed they wanted a fun, easy wedding outdoors in a garden setting. The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos, California, was idyllic with its quaint restaurant, Bell's, and unassuming spaces. "Instead of looking too much at traditional wedding inspiration, I drew ideas from things I love in everyday life: organic, abundant gardens, restaurant menus, and other details that naturally resonated with me," Anna explains. Nina Moore helped to bring her vision to life, while Liron Erel was behind the lens.

The summer weekend began with a welcome dinner, to which Anna wore a simple dress from The Row, paired with Danielle Frankel x Manolo Blahnik mules—a find from her appointment at the designer's studio in NYC. She completed the look with her family heirloom diamond and pearl earrings. "They originally belonged to my grandmother, who passed them down to my mother, and she shared them with me for the occasion," Anna smiles.

The bride found her ceremony dress at Oscar de la Renta and knew it was the one immediately."The high neckline and intricate lace felt incredibly special, while the clean, classic silhouette made perfect sense for my personal style," Anna says. Later in the evening, she changed into a Rodarte dress that captured her '90s Ralph Lauren vision. And makeup and hairstylist sister duo Alana and Maddie Alper made sure her bridal beauty was authentic throughout the weekend.

On July 26, 2025, Anna walked down the aisle with her mother and stepfather to meet Zach and exchange vows. "During the ceremony—and really throughout the whole weekend—there was such a feeling of love in the air," the bride says of the service. "It was truly palpable."

The alfresco reception began beside the garden promptly at 6:30 p.m. The tablescapes felt organic with florals from Nuude Botanica and colorful stationery by Over The Moon The List Illustrator Laura Lines. "Each place setting featured hand-drawn flowers by Laura, paired with vintage embroidered linen napkins and varied crystal glassware," Anna explains. "No two

alike, which lent character and a collected feel to the tables."

"The Half Moons cued us off with George Benson’s 'Give Me the Night.' We knew we wanted to bring the celebration to life with a lively band," Anna shares. "They exceeded every expectation, keeping the dance floor full from start to finish." Then, the newlyweds shared a first dance to "Sara Smile" by Daryl Hall & John Oates.

After cutting their Lelé Pâtisserie wedding confection, the after-party moved everyone into the barn, which was transformed with a dance floor, DJ, and cowboy hats.

Knowing they'd be jetting off to Japan months after the wedding for their honeymoon, Anna and Zach drove down to Montecito for a relaxing mini-moon. She concludes, "It was the perfect reset before heading home."
