I had so much fun collaborating with Hudson Ink, and I’m beyond obsessed with the gorgeous job they did of bringing our vision to life! The wedding suite completely felt classic and elevated yet colorful and festive. It felt so specific to us and evoked all we love about our favorite place, Lana’i.

Outside the stunning suite we lived in for the week, about to go to our first event on Thursday. In this moment, I remember us saying to each other, “Let’s do this,” as we excitedly and nervously kicked things off! When I found this Johanna Ortiz dress that resembled the flowers around the hotel, I knew it was perfect! I paired it with Alexandre Birman heels, a vintage raffia Bottega clutch, and coral-shaped Oscar de la Renta earrings as a subtle nod to the ocean. Mandy Grace created a simple white flower crown and Braden’s lei to tie in our looks!

We hosted an intimate dinner with just our immediate families at One Forty (the steakhouse aptly named after the one hundred and forty square miles of Lana’i) before kicking events off with our Thursday night “Meet for Mai Tais.” Braden and I were so giddy and were full of butterflies! This intimate dinner joining our families was the perfect calm before the storm of weekend events.

Thursday night Mai Tais were flowing and the kickoff games were so fun to break the ice and get our guests intermingling! By the end of the weekend, everyone knew each other and became friends, and Braden and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Our giant Jenga had #CheersCurriers on one side and Lana’i, Hawaii on the other. We wanted every little detail to feel intentional.

Sailing with my family and girlfriends was a highlight of the weekend for me. My heart was so full sailing around the island while surrounded by my family and closest friends from all walks of life. Drinking champagne, laughing, and singing along to the Moana soundtrack at the top of our lungs while sailing around Lana’i is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

We stopped in this stunning cove to swim and snorkel. I love this simple Zimmerman sundress with a shell belt, it was the perfect easy breezy dress for a sail! I’m surrounded by an incredible group of strong, smart, and hilarious women, and I felt so much joy in bringing everyone together.

On a boat with my friends, lots of laughter and the sun and sea. I’m completely in my happy place! I loved this chic Zimmerman one-piece bathing suit, my everyday staple Oliver Peoples sunglasses, gold conch shell earrings, and my “Mrs. Currier” sun hat that my girlfriends gifted me at my bachelorette. I felt so chic and more importantly, like me.

We must have jumped off the boat five times. We were having way too much fun! What I would do to go back to this exhilarating moment! I was raised an ocean girl and was totally in my element.

Anyone who knows Braden knows he’s a huge golfer, so naturally we threw a little tournament with Braden’s friends and family Friday morning. The Manele golf course is so iconic and stunning, we have incredible memories there. It was so special for him to share one of his favorite courses with his closest friends and family.

Braden decked out his friends and family in Under Armour uniforms for the golf tournament! We hosted a friendly competition of Team Bride vs. Team Groom. (And of course, Team Groom won!) They were having so much fun that they ran late to our pool party!

Our wedding planners, Kristen Daniel and Taylor Waxman, did a phenomenal job personalizing every detail and blending them in with the aesthetics of our events and the hotel. I loved supporting local artisans as much as possible, and our planners sourced some amazing talents from the islands.

We had a ball at our Friday afternoon pool party, which was complete with custom cornhole, Jenga, and any game, you name it. Our guests played games while enjoying cocktails served in pineapples and White Claws in custom coozies. Friday was a nonstop party!

Braden and I are huge animal lovers, and love “talking” to all the birds around the property, so we wanted that with our guests. We love how the birds are so iconic to the hotel, so naturally, they had to make a guest appearance. They were such a hit with our guests and the birds are so social!

While trying to kiss Lulu, I have to admit, I was a little nervous she would bite me the day before my wedding! I also loved how the locals surprised us with festive leis! It was the most fun, carefree day. You know it’s a good sign when my wedding planners had to literally drag me away to get ready for the wedding rehearsal!

Our hashtag #CheersCurriers in action! I found this ethereal French kimono on a whim, and it was the perfect coverup.I felt goddess-like floating around the party! Lana’i is nicknamed the Pineapple Island, so we wanted to incorporate pineapples as much as we could as an ode to its nickname.

Walking into our rehearsal dinner as the sun was starting to set just took my breath away! I loved my outfit, a skirt and top from Monique Llhuilhier, paired with Alaia heels, and a colorful, fruit-covered Dolce & Gabanna clutch for a pop of island flavor. Braden gifted me the sliced diamond earrings, necklace, and ring set I wore, which he custom-made. We wanted the whole weekend to feel intimate, especially as everyone travelled in, so in that spirit, we included all our guests in the rehearsal dinner. I heard back from so many guests how nice it was to hear the more personal and intimate speeches (and roasts) you don’t necessarily get to hear at a wedding our size.

I loved how the local artisans created the signage that felt so naturally incorporated with the decor. Mai Tais were served all weekend, of course, and our rehearsal drinks were served in coconuts. We actually incorporated more white for the rehearsal intentionally so as to differentiate from all the color in our wedding decor!

The food throughout the weekend was all local, and the malsadas (Hawaiian donuts) at the rehearsal were to die for! Hudson Ink made the cutest designs that were cohesive with our invitations and overall decor. Mandy Grace did a great job with florals, giving Friday night a distinctly separate feel from the wedding.

Braden and I always play cards at cocktail hour, so we asked Hudson Ink to make custom Lana’i playing cards to gift our guests in their welcome bags! We loved seeing our guests playing cards and mingling around the pool and the beach. I’m a jewelry junkie, and Braden nailed every gift along the way, from the engagement ring and matching band to the sliced diamond ring he gifted me the night before our wedding.

After a very detailed Google doc and many rounds of sourcing and vetting, the bridesmaids' dresses came together beautifully! I wanted a mix of color, pattern, and texture that at the same time felt cohesive. I wanted my bridesmaids to feel good in what they were wearing and most importantly feel like themselves. They wore dresses by J. Mendel, Saloni, Amur, LoveShackFancy, Cushnie, Ulla Johnson, and Self-Portrait to name a few!

I was smiling all day getting ready with my friends and family! Maui Makeup Artistry did all the girls’ hair and makeup and tied in all the looks beautifully. The time flew by. I was having so much fun. It felt like I was already at the wedding! I’m so obsessed with my Sleeper ostrich pajamas that made me feel fabulous all day. I gifted the women Eberjey pajamas with a palm tree print that plants a tree for each pair purchased.

I have a love affair with my custom Monique Llhuillhier dress and wish I could wear it all the time! I die for the floating lace florals over the nude layer, and the flowers felt so feminine with a tropical hint. It made me feel so elegant, unique, and understated.

I swear by how comfortable these Valentino chunky heels are and have them in multiple colors. I knew they would get me through hours of standing on the grass! This Jimmy Choo pearl clutch felt so classic and elegant, and I loved the subtle nod to the ocean. It also carried my "something old" which was a special handkerchief from my grandmother.

The dramatic dress reveal to my bridesmaids was so special! Their reactions were everything and their enthusiasm was contagious. They were literally trying to get lower to see me as the curtains were rising. It was so dramatic, fun, and hilarious!

The reactions from girlfriends and family drummed up my anticipation and excitement. This moment is where it really hit me, and I felt totally surrounded by their love. I truly felt like the most special girl in the world.

Braden and his groomsmen all wore black tuxes and yellow orchid boutonnières with matching Ray-Ban sunglasses and personalized cases Braden gifted them. Seeing Braden through the eyes of his friends and family brings me so much joy—he is so loved! Braden’s group of friends is so smart and talented, and boy, do those boys know how to have a fun time!

On my walk to meet Braden for our first look. Our incredible photographer, Ashley Goodwin, spotted this magical spot and had to stop me to snap a picture. I was so nervous and excited, and in this moment, I tried to collect myself. I remember thinking, “I’m going to see my groom!”

Our first look was over this little creek and was a perfect moment. When Braden walked up to me, I was shaking, and he was sobbing like a baby! We were both so nervous, but seeing each other calmed our nerves and made me feel overwhelming excitement!

Walking to the ceremony! We were so giddy, nervous, and excited! This walk was so surreal; it felt like time stood still.

Mandy Grace created the florals and such a stunning arch that was natural and elegant. It was a hot afternoon so parasols, fans, and our favorite mini Aperol Spritzes were passed out to our guests as they arrived.

As my dad walked me down the aisle, I could feel my heart beat in my throat! He was so emotional too, and we gripped each other tightly to propel us forward. I just tried to just live in the moment.

The wind picked up just as I started walking down the aisle, and my veil floated—it felt almost intentional, it was so perfect! Staring into a sea of people I know from all walks of life was so surreal. I always knew this moment would come, and I just couldn’t believe it was here!

Seeing Braden calmed my nerves instantly. The closer I got to Braden, the more at ease I felt (and the more I started loosening my iron grip on my dad’s arm!). I couldn’t stop smiling!

My uncle, who is also my godfather, officiated the ceremony which felt like it flew by in a nano-second! It felt so personal to us while also weaving in traditional elements. Of course there were a few roasts along the way!

We did it! We felt a rush of adrenaline and immediately took a tequila shot. We were ready to get the party started!

I am so obsessed with the colorful bougainvillea around the hotel and the warm aesthetic. Mandy Grace dried bougainvillea days before the wedding for guests to toss as we walked down the aisle!

Look how handsome my husband is! We had so much fun figuring out his attire, and when we found his midnight blue Isaia tux (a nod to his Neopolitan roots), it was beyond perfect. He paired it with Prada loafers, an Eton shirt, and of course, golf ball cuff links.

Admiring my handsome, stud of a husband! Felt so lucky to call him mine! We had so much fun walking around the bluffs just soaking it all in.

My girls keeping me grounded. I love how chic they all look and how their personal styles shown through. The bouquets and dresses looked gorgeous together!

Before the reception, Braden and I walked the beach together. The weather was perfect, and we were glowing of happiness and giddiness for the night to come. I loved having an intimate moment before the sun went down.

I’m so in love with our dreamy tablescapes! The mis-matched pieces felt like a warm, elevated backyard dinner party surrounded by palm trees on one side and the ocean on the other. I had so much fun designing the look along my incredibly talented wedding planner.

The night was so warm with the backdrop of the ocean, and the tequila was flowing. It was pure magic!

Let’s do the damn thing! We love to dance and gave it our all! We brought the energy, and it really set the tone for the night!

My dress was pinned up to dance, and I love how it twirled! It was so dramatic and fabulous. We could have kept going!

The last dip to our first dance. We were shaking and over the moon that we nailed it! Our friends went wild after the last dip, and we knew it was a smashing success!

At this point, we were so giddy that everything had gone off without a hitch and were excited to party!

There was so much momentum going into the after-party! I remember seeing a man wearing a light-up flower crown, holding a Mai Tai in one hand, tux jacket in the other, and heading into the after-party. I worked with Patty Ang Atelier to design this slip dress with an ostrich cape moment!

We love this vintage map of Lana’i from the old hotel that they kept after the remodel. The pride for the island is really beautiful, and it’s something Braden and I are so drawn to. Our friends continued after the after-party into the pool, and we never wanted the night to end!
