PARKE Founder & CEO and TikTok influencer Chelsea Parke Kramer and Nick Goles were first paired up as dance class partners in college at Dickinson College. The company that Chelsea founded, and that they both now work for, started in 2022 and has become a family business, albeit a big one. Chelsea grew up loving classic wardrobe staples, and while her first collection focused on up-cycled vintage denim, the brand quickly evolved to also include everyday basics, like PARKE sweatshirts and loungewear, which were a viral sensation and have quickly become a status symbol on every college campus from the College of Charleston to the University of Southern California. In July 2023, Kramer based the first PARKE mock-neck sweatshirt design, which is now pervasive, on a vintage college style from her mother’s closet that had what Chelsea describes as “Princess Diana vibes.”
After dating for seven years (and also growing the business), Nick got down on one knee at Chelsea's parents' home in New Jersey. "We usually take long walks down our street, which is lined with trees and farms," Chelsea explains. "One morning, halfway through our walk, Nick proposed, and I was over the moon!"
The engaged couple knew immediately that they would marry in the exact same spot where they got engaged and set the date for September 13, 2025. To bring their "wedding at home" vision to life, they enlisted the help of Wander Event Design and booked Clark Brewer as their photographer. Over The Moon The List Illustrator Julie King Studio set the tone for the weekend with a special invitation suite. And while wedding planning, Chelsea curated her own Over The Moon Dream Registry.
The bride wanted to wear something truly unique down the aisle, so she worked with designer Danielle Frankel and her team to create a custom dress. Her jewelry was all bespoke and from Mossighi, except her Starling wedding band, which featured one of her mom's heirloom diamonds. "Creating it was such a meaningful process," Chelsea notes. "And, now I get to wear it every day!"
On the morning-of the wedding, the bride got ready with makeup artist Cat Mignano and hairstylist Mitchell Ramazon. The ceremony began at 4:30 p.m. and took place in the backyard of her childhood home. "When it was my turn to walk down the aisle, I surprised Nick by having the quartet play 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran," Chelsea shares. Chelsea met Nick beneath a late-summer floral arch created by Flowers by Ford. "I felt so incredibly happy during the ceremony. I was marrying the love of my life, surrounded by all the people who mean the most to us. Our vows were deeply heartfelt, and it was hard to make it through them without tears."
After the ceremony, the couple joined their loved ones under a Sperry tent for the reception. Dinner began with appetizers, followed by family-style entrées, all locally sourced from Hunt&Harvest.
Once inside the tent, the newlyweds danced to Fankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." And then, the energy on the dance floor was quickly taken up a notch. "My favorite part of the reception was definitely the hora!" Chelsea grins. "Every single guest joined the dance floor, holding hands and forming a huge circle around Nick and me. Then, up we went in the chairs! It was a little scary, but so much fun."
The DJ kept the party going until even the bride was too tired to dance any longer. "When the night finally came to an end, I sat in the tent with Nick and my immediate family," Chelsea says. "We reminisced about all the moments from that day, before we walked back to the house and finally went to sleep."
