Le Mas des Poiriers translates to “the house of pears,” which is fitting because it is nestled beside a large pear orchard. The venue incorporates fresh pears into many of their drinks and desserts, so we wanted to lean into this unique detail. My photographer found a few photogenic pears in the orchard and sourced a vintage French ring box to include with our invitation suite.

The kickoff pool party was one of my favorite events. I kept pinching myself because I could not believe this was the start of our wedding weekend. As we were lounging and soaking up the most idyllic Provence weather, you could smell lunch cooking on the barbecue. It was heaven!

Our wedding planner/designer, Tracy Taylor Ward, surprised us with custom monogrammed Turkish towels and baskets, which perfectly coordinated with our vibe and color scheme. The gift came in handy all week!

Another fun thing our venue has to offer is a tennis court. These custom monogrammed Pickleball paddles and carrying cases were another sweet surprise.

I was beyond obsessed with my Francesca Miranda taffeta rehearsal dinner dress, and from Over The Moon, and loved the idea of a red lip to make it more dramatic. My mom let me borrow her vintage Chanel earrings to complete the ensemble.

Our rehearsal dinner in Cypress Alley was another highlight of our weekend. As the sun started to set, the glow of the candles in the middle of the garden made the ambiance a true dream.

I loved the idea of incorporating as many candles as possible into each event. Nothing compares to a romantic, warm, candlelit dinner.

Chris and I are often in scrubs, so playing dress up all weekend was really fun.

For the rehearsal dinner, Chris wore a light grey suit with a subtle pinstripe to coordinate with my Francesca Miranda taffeta dress.

My mom and I are always laughing together, so this getting-ready photo truly embodies our relationship. When I was little, we used to jump on the bed together just like this.

My Mom’s dress was the perfect embodiment of the French countryside garden theme. The color, the cape, and the entire vibe was perfect.

The moment I tried on my Lela Rose dress at Mark Ingram Atelier, I knew it was the one. The square neckline was a slight twist on my original vision, but I’m glad I went this route. Since the silhouette was modern and simple, I went with a long, delicate veil with scalloped lace detail to add some drama.

The French country facade of the main house was such a huge selling point for us. The light blue shutters, climbing vines, and the sound of the trickling fountain—it was pure heaven.

Since we work in hospitals around the clock, our lives are always moving at light speed. It was such a gift to slow down and enjoy every moment together throughout the week. The whole experience was peaceful and exactly what we had dreamed it would be, and more.

Every corner of the property was magical. Flowers cascaded out of vases, and the smell of lavender was everywhere.

I could have walked up and down this tree-lined path 100 times, and it felt like a dream.

We had always pictured an intimate ceremony, so when our planner suggested a ceremony “in the round,” we knew that was it! It felt very special being so close to all of our guests during this intimate moment.

The second I walked out of the house with my Dad, I could hear the birds chirping, the trickling of the fountain, and my heart pounding.

The walk down the aisle felt like a lifetime, but as soon as we made it about halfway down Cypress Alley, I locked eyes with Chris, and a wave of peace washed over me.

I was slightly nervous going into the ceremony since it felt like the most serious part of the day. This moment, when we were officially married and afterwards walking back down the aisle together, was the absolute best. We couldn’t stop laughing because it all felt like a dream.

Our poolside reception under the gazebo was the most magical vision I had ever seen. The crystal candelabras were covered in flowers, and the chandeliers were nestled between draped vines.

These double-embossed menus were the most breathtaking menus I have ever seen, and they helped make the tablescape a true work of art.

In proper French form, dinner was many courses long, and we were in no hurry. We enjoyed speeches from our loved ones and soaked up every moment. I would not have changed a thing.

A glitter face-painter was on hand for some added fun during the after-party. The design perfectly coordinated with my glitter boots and one-shoulder feather dress.

My afterparty dress was so fun to dance in and spin around the dance floor. I was losing feathers left and right, but it was the perfect outfit to end the night.

We had a quick moment to stop and thank everyone for pausing their busy lives and coming all the way to France to support us and celebrate our marriage.
