It took a few meetings over three years before The Mall Group VP Pailin “ Blue” Umphuj and New Energy Plus Solutions Co-Founder & CEO Treerat “Pune” Sirichantaropas started dating in the summer of 2020. Two years later, Pune proposed with his grandmother’s ring on a yacht in the Maldives. “It was her final gift for Blue before she passed away,” he explains.

Once engaged, the couple chose to host their wedding on Phuket, where they’ve shared so many memories. “A lot of Blue’s good memories were at Pansea Beach with her family, so we decided to get marry in Amanpuri,” Pune shares. The next day, they celebrated with a reception at The Vanderbilt Estate. To bring everything to life, the pair brought on The Wedding Bliss Thailand.

For the ceremony, Blue chose to exchange vows in a Carolina Herrera wedding dress with custom jewelry by Gem Pavilion, Manolo Blahniks, and a beauty look by Lindsay Magic. The following day, she put on an Elie Saab dress to further the celebrations in.

On November 16, 2023, 60 guests gathered for the ceremony at an Amanpuri villa. “As we only invited a small group of family members and close friends, it made everything so warm and full of love,” Blue shares.

Later that evening, toasts were delivered from close family. “Blue’s father sang a very special song, which brought tears to Blue because it was the same song her dad used to sing for her when he comforted her to bed when she was little,” Pune explains.

The next night’s five-course set meal for 180 loved ones was catered by fine-dining restaurant ADHOC. One of Thailand’s best bartenders, Mr. Pong, from the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok crafted the couple’s favorite drinks and a special coconut mojito.

Since the groom used to work in the music industry, he brought on U.K. artist and producer Paul Ewing, who organized the entertainment. “The playlists during the reception were our favorite songs which includes a lot of soul, jazz, and disco from the ‘70s,” Pune reveals.

The newlyweds’ first dance to “You Should Be Dancing” kicked off the after-party. And after a while, huge fireworks went off to mark the end of an incredible celebration.
