Model Olivia Mangrum, who starred in our exclusive Alexia María campaign earlier this year, and her husband, Collin Mangrum, are expecting their first child—a baby girl!—in the first month of the new year. We first met Olivia, when she attended our AERIN and Emilia Wickstead dinner in The Hamptons in the summer of 2024. And now, she’s curating her Over The Moon Dream Baby Registry ahead of the big day. She reveals to us that her little one’s name “has a classic, yet vintage feel.”
While Olivia and her husband’s home generally leans more neutral, her hope is for the baby’s room to have a more playful feel. “Her wardrobe will be versatile and well-rounded, filled with textured, feminine pieces, as well as easy, gender-neutral pieces, too,” Olivia shares.
Nursery
Decorate the space with French-inspired motifs, versatile green hues, and just the right amount of pink accents.
Including Coterie diapers and wipes were a must—a frequent recommendation from nearly all of my mom friends. A selection of cozy onesies was also non-negotiable, since baby girl will be living in these the first several months. I’ve heard there’s nothing quite as scary as trying to trim newborn nails, so the Frida electric nail buffer will save her (and me) plenty of tears, I'm sure. Finally, for our holiday baby, I had to throw in a few heirloom-worthy treasures. Petite Plume gingham pajamas and a leather-bound Christmas classic will be pieces we can treasure forever.
Clothes & Other Delights
Style your little one from to day to night in soft-to-the-touch knits and sets. Plus, don’t forget baby’s swimwear!
Something we have grown more and more excited about is experiencing the world fresh and new through her eyes and experiencing all of her “firsts” with her. We’re also excited to create meaningful traditions for our family with her in mind.
First, less is more—all baby really needs is you. Second, I promise it’s possible to find pieces that are both functional and beautiful.
Comfort & Care
Invest in high-quality pieces that are plush and luxurious so this process truly nurtures your little one.
Leading with the practical—but leaving room for delights—Olivia’s Dream Baby Registry is truly ready for their little one’s arrival. The mama-to-be leaves us with sage advice about pregnancy and motherhood: “A friend of mine recently encouraged me to be cautious about who and what I allow to shape my perspective on pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. All too often, we hear discouraging statements like ‘just wait until’ or ‘that won’t last,’ so it was an encouraging reminder that we get to define and protect the perspective and experience we hope to have throughout motherhood.”
