The Constance was born in 1967, when Jean-Louis Dumas, then creative director of the French house, asked a designer to create a new bag, which she named after her daughter, Constance. With a boxy shape and a large “H” plaque, the design carries that heritage in a wallet on a strap with a magnetic snap closure.
