Founded in 2007, Indego Africa is a nonprofit social enterprise propelling the creation, growth, and sustainability of women-owned businesses in Africa. From the fine raffia weaving in their bags to the woodcarving in their homewares, the brand provides women and youth with the vocational skills, business know-how, and pipeline to global markets to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs. The Kire Pick a Side Tray makes an elegant centerpiece to a dining table or kitchen tabletop. Found inside the Agave plant, sisal fibers are fine but incredibly strong, with a naturally light color great for dying. Rwandan artisans often use sisal in a traditional coil weaving technique where hand dyed threads are wrapped around bunches of sweetgrass to create a tightly coil in a range of colors and patterns.

Care Instructions
Spot clean. Apply a light coating of food quality mineral oil to the wood base every few months or whenever your piece looks dry. Trim any stray fibers that may appear over time.
