Lingua Franca is a line of sustainably-sourced, fair trade luxury ready-to-wear and cashmere pieces, all hand-stitched by women in New York City. Every word on Lingua Franca’s staple pullover sweaters is chalked in script by designer Rachelle Hruska MacPherson before it is ever stitched. This unique skirt, a mix of faille fabric at the bottom, combined with blue collar worker cable knit on top, is drop-waisted and features an exposed zipper at the side with a velvet ribbon pull and an interior waistband in velvet that will not stretch out.
