The Paddock Quilted Jacket is the newest addition to Tom Beckbe’s collection of weatherproof waxed cotton outerwear for men. Designed for warmth, durability, and classic style, this jacket is insulated with HD Wool—a naturally breathable blend of 75% wool and 25% compostable biopolymers. Purpose-built for cold-weather wear, the Paddock combines time-tested craftsmanship with innovative performance materials, making it a dependable companion for the field or everyday life. Crafted from a 5.5-ounce waxed cotton shell woven by the legendary Halley Stevensons mill in Scotland, the Paddock features an alchemy wax finish that provides a lustrous, weatherproof surface without the oily residue. Over time, this fabric develops a distinctive patina that tells its own story. Oversized front handwarmer pockets lined in soft moleskin offer warmth and secure with concealed snaps to keep out the elements. Antique brass hardware, a two-way zipper, and a front storm flap with snap closures reinforce the jacket’s rugged utility, while a concealed zippered Napoleon pocket offers convenient access without unfastening the coat completely. Set-in sleeves provide a structured, flattering fit through the shoulders and are lined with smooth poly twill for easy layering. Inside, three pockets—including one zippered—add secure storage for essentials. A cotton liner inspired by Alabama red clay brings a refined pop of color, while a corduroy-lined collar stand adds comfort and warmth. Adjustable snap tabs at the waist and side vents allow for a personalized fit. Available in Rye Brown, Olive, Tobacco, and Rustic Brown.

Size & Fit

Classic fit tailored through the chest, shoulders, and body. If you fill out a Tom Beckbe jacket, take the next size up. Model is wearing size Medium. Front length from high point shoulder: 30.75" (size M). For Tall sizes, add 2" to total length and 1" to sleeve length.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or dry clean. Touch up dry or worn areas with reproofing wax as needed to maintain water resistance.
