The Paddock Quilted Vest is the latest addition to Tom Beckbe’s collection of weatherproof waxed cotton vests for men. Designed for warmth, durability, and everyday versatility, this quilted vest is insulated with HD Wool—a revolutionary, naturally breathable material composed of 75% wool and 25% compostable biopolymers. Purpose-built for cold-weather comfort, the Paddock delivers the same rugged reliability and refined style that define Tom Beckbe outerwear. Crafted from a 5.5-ounce waxed cotton shell produced by the legendary Halley Stevensons mill in Scotland, the Paddock features a high-luster alchemy wax finish that offers weather resistance without the oily residue. Over time, it will develop a rich patina unique to its wearer. The oversized front handwarmer pockets are lined in soft moleskin and secured with concealed snaps for added protection from the elements. Inside, three pockets—including one with a secure zipper closure—provide thoughtful organization for essentials. A cotton liner inspired by Alabama red clay adds a distinctive touch, while a corduroy-lined collar stand and adjustable snap-tab waist ensure a comfortable fit. Finished with antique brass hardware, a two-way front zipper, and side vents for ease of movement. Available in Rye Brown, Olive, Tobacco, and Rustic Brown.

Size & Fit

Classic fit tailored through the chest, shoulders, and body. If you fill out a Tom Beckbe jacket, take the next size up. Model is wearing size Medium. Front length from high point shoulder: 27.5" (size M). For Tall sizes, add 2" to total length.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or dry clean. Touch up dry or worn areas with reproofing wax as needed to maintain water resistance.
