The Reuben Challah Cover in Mandrake Grey is inspired by the mandrake flowers that Reuben gathered for his mother Leah, which she traded with Rachel for a night with Jacob, and through which she conceived Issachar. Inscribed with “Shabbat V’Yom Tov,” the design is hand-embroidered across upholstery fabric in metallic Zardosi and metallic silk thread. This piece comes with a Reuben blessing card in a signature ATOOF dust bag and gift box presentation.

100% linen lining. Metallic Zardosi and metallic silk embroidery. Upholstery fabric treated with protective coating. This design took approximately 90 hours to complete. Due to the entirely hand-crafted, artisanal nature of these objects, slight variations are to be expected and add to the uniqueness of each design. Designed in NYC. Hand-embroidered in Mumbai.
