Bride-to-Be Becca Bloom’s Dream Registry

Rebecca Ma—who is more widely known by her Instagram and TikTok handle @beccaxbloom—has built a devoted following across social media by posting glimpses into her highly curated life as well as advice, self-help tutorials, and details about her wedding planning journey (she’s getting married in Italy later this summer), always delivered in her signature soft, soothing voice and with a smile. From filming indulgent private chef-made meals for her dog Happy and salmon sashimi dishes plated on Versace chargers for her cat Oscar to effortlessly breaking down complex finance concepts and providing confidence and dating tips, the Bay Area–based content creator, who also works in fintech, mixes real-world wisdom with fun, upscale extravagance that feels made for this particular moment.

Her feed is a stark contrast to the muted “quiet luxury” trend and the messybrat movement that followed last year. While one is inevitably captivated by her shopping hauls and a bit mesmerized by the opulence of it all, there’s also something downright endearing about her content. And because there’s very little sponsored content, everything she promotes is what she authentically endorses. One minute she’s posing in Pucci in front of the Eiffel Tower and flying to Italy to peruse Bulgari’s newest high jewelry collection in a private appointment and the next she’s opening up about life with her fiancé David Pownall and life-coaching her very engaged following.

She breaks down finance concepts in a way that feels fresh, approachable, and smart—answering questions that many are too afraid to ask or say they don’t understand. “My biggest pet peeve is men gatekeeping women from certain industries, especially STEM and finance,” she tells The Wall Street Journal in her recent profile, “so I want to make that accessible to everybody.” And even though she’s recently signed with United Talent Agency, she still plans on working in finance.

And even though, Ma has only been on TikTok since January, she has already solidified herself as the preeminent voice of “RichTok”—a popular corner of the app that showcases the finer things in life. It’s 2025, after all—five years after the pandemic, and some pure, unadulterated glamour and escapism feels good, especially right now and when coupled with ways to improve that don’t feel pushy.

The bottom line is: The girl’s got range. No matter the subject, there’s a refreshing, earnest mix of joy, honesty, and intention in her multifaceted content.

And because she’s become such an arbiter of style, after she and fiancé David Pownall walk down the aisle at Villa Balbiano on Lake Como, her 4 million—and counting—followers will surely be eager to take in all of the details. So far, she’s teased her wedding journey with a Reel of the venues they didn’t pick—including Sofia Richie Grainge’s famously exclusive venue, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, which she passed on because she and David had a fight there once. We get it.

As the wedding weekend approaches, the internet is eagerly awaiting answers to questions like, “Which couture house will she wear?” and “Beluga or Kaluga for the reception?"  But in the lead up to the main event, the burning question on our minds at Over The Moon is a little more practical—What is Becca Bloom adding to her OTM Registry? Let’s find out . . .

Dream Registry

Kitchen

Fill the space with premier utensils like Zwilling and chef-approved cookware like Le Creuset.

Q: What were a few must-have items for your Dream Registry?

First, I’ve always been drawn to colorful, whimsical tableware, so I naturally gravitated toward Ginori 1735. It’s actually the brand we were dining on the night we got engaged—David and I were both commenting on how stunning the plates were. I knew immediately I had to include a few Ginori pieces, especially the vases and dessert plates, to fill our home with that same kind of happiness. As for the flower vases…well, I’m Becca Bloom, so that one kind of speaks for itself. I grew up in a house where there were always flowers—big blooming peonies in the spring, dahlias in the summer. David brings me flowers all the time (and even more impressively, he brings them to my mom, too, who’s pictured here).

Tabletop

These luxe silver pieces, versatile ceramics, and heirloom Baccarat crystalware can be easily layered together.

Q: Was there a method or mindset when choosing items for your registry?

Everything we picked feels like a little snapshot of who we are as a couple—where we’ve been, and who we hope to become. One of the most sentimental pieces: The Natalie Obradovich Commute to Pasta Capri print. We got engaged on a boat just off the coast of Capri, and we’ve gone back every summer since. Capri and the Amalfi Coast feel like part of our story now—where we dream, celebrate, and occasionally argue over where to anchor. Having a piece of that coastline in our home feels like bringing a little piece of magic back with us.

Decor & Beyond

Entertaining in a comforting space couldn’t be easier—or more beautiful.

Ahead of Rebecca and David’s next chapter together, she leaves us with key advice for those creating their own Over The Moon Registries: “One tip I’d give to couples building their registry is to think less about what looks impressive and more about what feels meaningful,” she notes. “At the end of the day, your registry really does mark the beginning of a new chapter—these are the pieces that will be with you through morning coffees, holiday dinners, spontaneous game nights, and everything in between.”

Thus, every single item on her and David’s registry is intentional. “For us, we’re having a very intimate wedding, and we’re close with every single guest invited—so each item on our registry was chosen with someone in mind,” she explains. “Whether it’s a serving platter or a set of candlesticks, we’ll think of that person every time we use it. It makes everything feel more personal and a little more timeless. These are the things we hope to keep forever, and maybe even pass down someday.”

So, in short, her overall advice to couples selecting their own special items is this: “Choose pieces that will hold memories, not just fill space.”

Part of Becca Bloom’s glittering allure is how she deliberately lives life to the fullest—and finds the decor, tableware, and more that will help her do it. The way she intentionally designs her registry is incredible inspiration for couples creating their own.
